Children Education Allowance (CEA)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Who Can Claim?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • You can claim for your first two children.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If twins are born first, you can claim for both (maximum two children\u2014no third child allowed).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If you have one child first, then twins later, you can claim for all three children (exception allowed).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If a child passes away, you can claim for the next child.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u2705 <\/span>New Rule<\/b>: You can now claim CEA from Nursery, LKG, UKG onwards (earlier it was allowed from Class 1).<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u267f Special Case: CEA for Handicapped Child (CEAHC)<\/span><\/p>\n

    You need to provide a valid Disability Certificate(min 40%).<\/span><\/p>\n

    The CEA amount is doubled: Up to \u20b967,500\/- per year.<\/span><\/p>\n

    When & How to Claim:<\/h2>\n

    1. Claims should be published in DO II only after completion of the academic year:<\/p>\n

    2. Academic year: 01 April to 31 March.<\/p>\n
